RANCHI: In a moment of pride for Jharkhand, Chief Minister Hemant Soren met with teenage chess sensation Adhiraj Mitra on Saturday at his official residence on Kanke Road. The 14-year-old from Jamshedpur clinched the gold medal in the under-14 category at the Commonwealth Chess Championship 2025, held in Malaysia from November 7 to 16.
Adhiraj, a Class 8 student at Loyola School in Jamshedpur, shared his thrilling experiences from the tournament with the Chief Minister.
