    Ranchi. On June 3, a torch procession will be taken out from Jaipal Singh Munda Stadium to Albert Ekka Chowk to protest against the flyover ramp at the main gate of Siram Toli Sarna site in Ranchi, while Jharkhand will be closed on June 4. Various tribal organizations gave information about this by holding a press conference on Monday at Sarna Bhawan in Nagda Toli. However, other essential services including drug stores, ambulances, patients, candidates have been kept free from the bandh.

    Tribal organizations also strongly opposed the proposal of government liquor shops in the villages. It was called a conspiracy to break the tribal society. He appealed to the general public including farmers, laborers, autos and e-rickshaw drivers, school managers to support the Jharkhand bandh.

    Tribal organizations allege that the lands of tribals are being taken away under the guise of the development schemes of the government. The land of tribals of Nagdi area is also being taken in the name of Nagdi RIMS Part-Two Project. Organizations also accused several holy shrines including Marang Buru, Parasnath Pahar of encroachment.

    Former Education Minister Geetashree Oraon, Ajay Tirkey, Premshahi Munda, Niranjana Herange, Kundarsi Munda, Sushila Oraon, Akash Tirkey and Sangeeta Kachhap were present on the occasion.
