    The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has released an advertisement for the recruitment of 3181 Auxiliary Nurse Midwives (ANMs) in Jharkhand. These positions include both regular and backlog vacancies. The JSSC will conduct the ANM Competitive Examination-2025, and online applications are invited.     Examination Fee Details:
    The exam fee is Rs 100 for the general category, with a reduced fee of Rs 50 for Scheduled Tribe and Scheduled Caste candidates. Candidates with disabilities of 40% or more are exempt. Incorrect payment can lead to application rejection.

    Examination Structure:
    The exam will be conducted using the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode, comprising a single main examination phase. The exam will consist of objective-type questions. Each question is worth one mark, and there will be no negative marking. The exam can be taken in Hindi or English and will last for 60 minutes, with 50 questions in total. Only candidates who achieve the minimum qualifying marks will be considered for the merit list. Minimum qualifying marks are 40% for the unreserved category, 32% for Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes and women, 34% for Extremely Backward Classes (Schedule-1), 36.5% for Backward Classes (BC-Two), and 30% for Primitive Tribes, with relaxation for contractual employees with 5+ years of service.

    Merit List Construction:
    The final merit list will be constructed based on the written exam, matriculation, intermediate qualifications, technical training, and work experience. The written exam carries a maximum of 50 marks, technical training 10 marks, educational qualification 40 marks, and work experience in government hospitals in Jharkhand (5 marks/year) 50 marks; totalling 150 marks.
