Jharkhandi Bhasha Khatiyani Sangharsh Samiti (JBKSS) will also try its luck in the assembly elections to be held at the end of this year in Jharkhand. The head of the committee, Jairam Mahto, said in a press conference held today at Oxygen Park in Ranchi that JBKSS will contest alone on 55 seats in the state. He said that upper caste candidates will also be fielded in the assembly elections. People from the intellectual class will also be included in this.
Mahato said that the party has a special focus on the Godda Lok Sabha constituency. This time, due to not being able to find a candidate, no candidate was given in the Lok Sabha elections, but in the upcoming assembly elections, candidates will definitely be fielded in the Santhal region. Expressing gratitude for the support received from the people of the state during the Lok Sabha elections, Mahato said that the party will contest the Jharkhand assembly elections strongly. There is a possibility of getting registration and election symbol from the Election Commission soon. After this, preparations for the assembly elections will be completed.
He said that we are excited with the way the party formed a year ago received public support in the Lok Sabha elections. We were ahead in two assembly constituencies of Giridih Lok Sabha constituency and were successful in fighting the elections strongly.
