In Koderma, a jawan named Mansoor Alam (42), who worked as a driver in the police line, committed suicide by consuming sulfas. Alam had been dealing with stress stemming from his suspension. Prior to his death, he recorded a video in which he held two police station in-charges responsible, accusing them of fabricating charges against him that led to his suspension. Last night, Alam, residing in a police barracks, alerted his colleagues that he had ingested poison. His comrades quickly arrived and took him to Sadar Hospital Koderma in a serious condition. After initial treatment, he was referred to RIMS, Ranchi, but died during treatment. The deceased’s wife mentioned that Mansoor Alam had been under immense stress for some time. He was suspended for three months and had previously been suspended within a span of four months. In the video, Alam directly accused Jaynagar station in-charge Bablu Singh and Domchanch station in-charge Om Prakash Yadav of falsely implicating him and causing his suspension, clearly stating they were responsible for his death.
