The Anti Corruption Foundation of World has escalated its efforts to address the worsening stray animal situation in Jamshedpur, appealing to the district administration for immediate action. A representative group, led by Shashi Acharya, presented a comprehensive request to Deputy Commissioner Karn Satyrathi, detailing the growing dangers posed by stray animals. The memorandum pointed out that streets, crossroads, and residential colonies are becoming increasingly perilous due to the overwhelming number of stray dogs, bulls, and other livestock. Reports of wild bulls attacking and injuring women, coupled with a rise in dog bites, have heightened public anxiety. The organization is demanding concrete solutions, including the establishment of permanent shelters, the reintroduction of effective stray dog sterilization programs, and the removal of these animals from congested areas to managed facilities. They are urging the administration to adopt decisive measures to guarantee public security and minimize road accidents and assaults. A warning was issued that a failure to address these concerns promptly will compel the organization to initiate demonstrations, placing accountability on the relevant officials.
