    The northern parts of India are currently enduring a severe heatwave. Delhi and several other states are experiencing extremely high temperatures. The progress of the monsoon has slowed. In many areas, temperatures have surpassed 45 degrees Celsius. The heat has become unbearable in Delhi, with cooling appliances failing to provide relief. Uttar Pradesh is also experiencing rising temperatures.

    The maximum temperature in Delhi today could reach 43 degrees Celsius, with a minimum of 27 degrees Celsius. Expect dusty winds and heat waves during the day. The weather is predicted to shift this evening, with thunderstorms and light rain likely late at night. Further rainfall is anticipated in Delhi between June 13th and 16th, offering significant relief to the residents of Delhi NCR.

    Parts of Uttar Pradesh may see light showers, while heat waves are expected in other areas. The weather department expects the monsoon to arrive in Uttar Pradesh by June 15, which could bring much-needed relief.

    Bihar and Jharkhand are experiencing different weather conditions. Heavy rainfall occurred in some areas of Bihar on Wednesday, while other parts continue to face scorching heat. Jharkhand is forecasted to witness thunderstorms, strong winds, and lightning across the entire state.

    Rajasthan is currently battling a severe heatwave, with Madhya Pradesh issuing heat alerts. Punjab and Haryana are expected to see increasing temperatures due to dry and hot winds. However, Rajasthan’s weather is expected to change soon, with rain expected in four districts on June 14. Madhya Pradesh has issued an orange alert for heat waves in multiple districts and a yellow alert for rain in others.

    Heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected in Central Karnataka. Coastal and interior Karnataka are also likely to receive moderate to heavy rainfall. Eastern and Northern Tamil Nadu are under a very heavy rainfall warning. Heavy rainfall is anticipated in Andhra Pradesh and Yanam. Maharashtra is expected to receive heavy rainfall in various regions over the next 4-5 days.
