A contingent of students from National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL), Ranchi, has achieved a significant milestone by participating in the 5th Cross-Examination Moot Court Competition 2025 in Paris, France. This distinguished international event focused specifically on the critical skill of cross-examination in international arbitration proceedings, drawing participation from leading legal institutions worldwide.

The NUSRL team, consisting of Vansh Gandhi, Shreya, Shraddha Raj, Garima Kiran, Yash Singh Naruka, and Abhaya Shruti, engaged in rigorous competition against teams from prestigious establishments such as NLU Delhi, NALSAR Hyderabad, King’s College London, and the London School of Economics (LSE). Their performance was marked by exceptional confidence, astute reasoning, and a high level of professionalism.

Key moments of the competition included the students presenting their arguments at both Sciences Po Law School and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in Paris. This exposure offered a deep dive into international legal intricacies and provided invaluable exposure to global legal frameworks.

Organized by Sciences Po Law School, Paris, and collaborating with institutions like Queen Mary University of London, New York University, and the National University of Singapore, the competition has a strong reputation. It was notably honored by Global Arbitration Review in 2021 with the “Best Development of the Arbitration World” award.
