This area has established a long-standing reputation for high-quality potato farming, achieving an estimated trade value of 200 crore rupees last year. Although current weather patterns have presented challenges, farmers are confidently projecting a trade exceeding 100 crore rupees for the ongoing season. The distinctive taste and superior quality of Ichak-grown potatoes are highly valued, attracting buyers from across the country.
