Ranchi: Late on Sunday night, a huge fire broke out in a shop located in Daily Market on the main road of Ranchi. All the goods kept in the shop were burnt to ashes in this fire. The loss is estimated to be in lakhs.

The fire broke out when the shop was closed

According to the information received, a dry fruits shop located in Daily Market suddenly caught fire on Sunday night at around 11:45. Due to the fire, there was chaos on the spot. The shop owner was immediately called to the spot and efforts were made to control the fire on their own. After a while, fire brigade vehicles also reached the spot after which the fire was controlled. In this fire, the dry fruits shop was badly burnt to ashes. The shopkeeper has suffered a loss of lakhs.

Shopkeepers were terrified by the fire

The shopkeepers of the daily market are very scared of fire. Apart from fruits and vegetables, this market also has a wholesale market for other food items. Last year, there was a huge fire in the vegetable market, in which an elderly woman lost Rs 2.5 lakh. There was a fire in the market during the Corona period too, in which all the fruit shops were burnt. This is the reason that as soon as the information about the fire was received, all the shopkeepers reached the spot. It was fortunate that the fire broke out in a shop located outside the market. Due to which the fire brigade personnel quickly controlled the fire, if the fire had spread, there would have been a big loss.
