Home Invasion in Ranchi: Woman Assaulted with Petrol

A brazen act of violence occurred in Ranchi, Jharkhand, as a woman was attacked inside her home. An unknown assailant entered the house and doused the victim with petrol. The attack caused immediate alarm and concern in the neighborhood. Initially, family members believed the woman had been targeted with acid, but medical tests confirmed the use of petrol, which caused burns and affected her eyes. The incident took place in Tender Gram, within the Kanke police station area. The 21-year-old woman was at home when the assault occurred. Chief Minister Hemant Soren has responded by ordering the police to investigate and apprehend the attacker. He also directed the concerned authorities to provide the victim with the best possible medical attention.
