JSLPS Chief Executive Officer Kanchan Singh said that the naturally made gulal has been used for green for green, beetroot for pink, yellow and orange for color, while other flowers and leaves including other flowers and leaves have been used. Natural essence has also been included to make Gulal fragrant.
He said that through the Palash brand, we are delivering the products made by rural women to the market.

Wajida Lone, the director of the exhibition cum sales stall set up at Morhabadi Maidan in Ranchi, said that people are very fond of this gulal prepared without using a chemical. For the last five days, he has set up this stall, where every day a good number of people are reaching to buy Gulal.
Kamala Kumari, another sister of Sakhi Mandal, said that like last year, there is a good demand for Herbal Gulal this year. Village-to-village Didis started preparing Gulal for Holi two months in advance. Omprakash, a customer who arrived to shop at the stall, said that no chemicals or artificial materials have been used in this herbal gulal.
