Ranchi. Hemant Soren has once again been elected as the leader in the meeting of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha Legislature Party. Also, the parties of ‘India’ block have also elected him leader. He will take oath as Chief Minister for the third time on 28 November. A day after the election results, on Sunday, the meeting of the newly elected MLAs of the ‘India’ block was held at the Chief Minister’s residence. In this, Hemant Soren was elected leader of the legislative party. After this, he went to Raj Bhavan and resigned from the post of Chief Minister and claimed to form a new government.
In a conversation with reporters outside Raj Bhavan after being invited to form the government, Hemant Soren said- Governor Santosh Gangwar has appointed acting CM. The swearing -in ceremony will take place on 28 November. It is being told that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and RJD’s Tejashwi Yadav may attend the swearing -in ceremony.
It is being told that the formula for one ministerial post is being decided on five MLAs in the parties of the coalition. In this, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha can get seven, Congress three and RJD can get one ministerial post. Significantly, a total of 12 ministers can be made in the state. According to informed sources, most of the ministers of JMM can be repeated in the new government. New faces will replace two loser ministers. However, some changes are definitely possible in the Congress. There will also be a new face in place of the loser minister. If the party’s only Muslim MLA Irfan Ansari can get a place in the government in place of Jail Alamgir Alam, then many other tribal faces can be included in the government instead of elderly Rameshwar Oraon. Two Sanjay Yadav have won from RJD, one of whom can be made ministers.
