Hemant Soren: Chief Minister Hemant Soren got a big relief from Jharkhand High Court on Wednesday.

The court exempted him from appearing personally in the MP-MLA Special Court of Ranchi in the case related to disregard of ED summons.

The bench of Justice Anil Kumar Chaudhary has issued a notice to ED on this and directed it to file its reply.

The next hearing of the case has been fixed for December 16. The MP-MLA Special Court had on November 25 rejected Soren’s plea seeking exemption from personal appearance and ordered him to appear on December 4. (Hemant Soren)
