Ranchi. In the way the BJP won a major victory in Maharashtra, Hemant Soren’s party Jharkhand Mukti Morcha has won a big victory in Jharkhand. That party had never got so much seats in the history of JMM. The JMM 81 members have set a record by winning 34 seats in the assembly. The JMM -led coalition has won a major majority by winning 56 seats. On the other hand, the Bharatiya Janata Party has been reduced to 21 seats. His alliance has got a total of 24 seats.
The majority figure in the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly is 41 seats, while the alliance of JMM, Congress, RJD and Left parties has won 56 seats. JMM has broken the record of winning 30 seats by winning 34 seats. The Congress has won 16 seats. Among the two other colleagues, RJD got four seats and Left got two seats. On the other hand, the BJP has got 21 seats in the NDA, while its three allies, JDU, LJP and AJSU have got one seats each.
Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren won from Barheth Assembly seat by about 40 thousand votes. His wife Kalpana has won elections from Soren Gandey seat. He won this seat for the first time in the by -election this year. BJP’s undeclared contender and state BJP president Babulal Marandi Raj won elections from Dhanwar seat. BJP Legislature Party leader Amar Bauri lost the election in the assembly. Former Chief Minister Arjun Munda’s wife Meera Munda, Madhu Koda’s wife Geeta Koda and Champai Soren’s son Babulal Soren lost the election. Champai himself won the election from Soren Seraikela seat.
After the election results, Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that ‘India’ performed well in the election. He said- I want to thank people, farmers, women and youth of all communities. I also thank the leaders on the ground. Kalpana Soren, wife of Hemant Soren, said after winning the election- Ganday’s people gave me love like a daughter. Thank you very much for this. Everyone’s love and blessings continue to get, this is a prayer.
After the election results of Maharashtra and Jharkhand, Rahul Gandhi wrote on the social media platform X- The people of Jharkhand were heartfelt thank you for giving a huge mandate to ‘India’. Heartfelt greetings and best wishes to Chief Minister Hemant Soren, Congress and JMM workers for this victory. This victory of alliance in the state is the victory of protecting water-forest-land with the constitution. Regarding Maharashtra, he said that the party would review the results there.
