Ranchi: The effect of the deep depression (low pressure) formed in the south-east of Bangladesh was seen in most parts of the state including Ranchi on Saturday. It rained intermittently from morning to evening. Abhishek Anand, scientist of Meteorological Center Ranchi, said that a deep depression is forming from Bengal to Chhattisgarh via Jharkhand. Its maximum effect will be seen in Jharkhand on September 15. Therefore, a red alert for rain has been issued in Ranchi, Ramgarh, Khunti, Simdega and Gumla on Sunday. There is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rain in these districts.
He said that an orange alert for rain has been issued in Lohardaga, West Singhbhum and Bokaro. There will be heavy rain here too. On the other hand, a yellow alert has been issued in Chatra, Hazaribagh, Giridih and East Singhbhum. There is a possibility of intermittent heavy rain at these places. During this time, the wind will blow at a speed of 40 to 60 km per hour. There is also a possibility of hailstorm. The weather will be clear from September 17. However, there is a possibility of rain in Ranchi till September 20.
