Heat havoc begins, no relief till April 6, advice to avoid heat wave

Ranchi: There is no hope of respite from the heat till April 6 in the entire state including the capital. The mercury in Jamshedpur is 40.9 degrees and that of Godda is 39.9 degrees. The gust of hot winds has started troubling Ranchi. With the beginning of April, the havoc of heat has also started in the state. The scorching sun that emanated from the morning became more intense by the afternoon. However, now the Meteorological Department has not predicted any drop in mercury for the next three days, people will have to face severe heat throughout the month of April. Abhishek Anand, scientist of Meteorological Center, Ranchi, said that the sky will remain clear for the next three days. The weather will be dry.
