District Magistrate Shashi Prakash Singh led a critical review session in Hazaribagh, examining the implementation status of diverse rural development programs. The agenda included detailed discussions on MGNREGA, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Ambedkar Awas Yojana, Abua Awas Yojana, Birsa Coop Samvardhan Yojana, Doba construction, Anganwadi initiatives, Birsa Harit Gram Yojana, horticulture projects, PD generation, geo-tagging, Janman Yojana, and Panchayati Raj system enhancements. Discussions also covered ABPS, and JSLPS activities such as new SHG formation, financial linkages, Mudra loans, support for livestock, producer groups, DDU-GKY, and PMFME. A key directive from the District Magistrate was to accelerate PD generation. BDOs and BPOs were tasked with compiling lists of economically disadvantaged families to ensure their inclusion in MGNREGA for guaranteed employment and increased man-day generation. Significant emphasis was placed on the timely completion of all pending and legacy projects. The District Magistrate called for better coordination with the Animal Husbandry Department for livestock scheme approvals and stressed the need for field surveys to identify and collect data on deserving beneficiaries. The construction of toilets for PVTG households via MGNREGA was also a specific instruction. Additionally, the meeting focused on ensuring the proper upkeep of nutrition gardens within educational institutions and Anganwadi centers. BPOs are to guarantee that all job card applications received under the ‘Government at Your Doorstep’ campaign are processed completely, and that job cards are issued to all eligible individuals. The completion of stalled projects under the Poto Ho Sports Development Scheme was also a priority. BDOs were instructed to conduct routine inspections of Anganwadi facilities, comparing physical progress with digital records. Reviews of JSLPS schemes included a demand for reports on bank-related challenges and a focus on resolving SHG insurance matters. The District Magistrate also provided specific instructions to expedite Aadhaar authentication for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, enhance vermicompost initiatives, streamline material distribution, and improve the overall execution of Panchayati Raj services.
