In a startling revelation, former minister and prominent Congress leader K.N. Tripathi has asserted that the state government is actively seeking his death, pointing to the immediate removal of his official police security. Tripathi, who claims to be the sole former minister in the state left without governmental protection, now relies on the voluntary security provided by his supporters. The withdrawal of his police escort reportedly followed an incident involving a dispute with his assigned security personnel. Tripathi expressed his fears, stating that the government wishes to silence him and that certain police officials are part of this alleged conspiracy. He highlighted that his security is a government responsibility under established protocols, which have now been disregarded. Tripathi also alleged that recent charges of assaulting security guards and subsequent legal cases, including those under the Harijan Act, were fabricated to frame him. Despite the circumstances, Tripathi remains resolute, promising to continue his vocal opposition to injustice and corruption. He is demanding an explanation from the government for the removal of his security and the alleged plot against him. He clarified that the armed individuals accompanying him are dedicated party workers acting out of their own volition.
