    Ghatshila Election: Micro-Observer Selection Process Begins

    The first stage of selecting micro-observers for the Ghatshila Assembly by-election has been completed in East Singhbhum. The randomization process, held Thursday in the District Collectorate auditorium, saw the participation of General Observer Rakhi Biswas and District Election Officer Karn Satyarthi. Voting for the Ghatshila constituency is scheduled for November 11th, with 300 polling centers identified. A total of 36 micro-observers will be deployed to oversee 30 selected polling locations, with six extra observers also being randomized. The final deployment details will be confirmed on November 9th, post which observers will be stationed at their assigned booths. The District Election Officer underscored the vital importance of micro-observers in safeguarding the fairness and transparency of elections, directing officials to meticulously follow all Election Commission guidelines.
