Upon receiving information about the gang-rape of a minor girl from the Paharia community in the Kathikund police station area, the police took swift action. They arrested all the accused involved in the gang-rape and initiated an investigation. The girl’s boyfriend works as a helper on a coal-carrying truck. On Monday evening, he had come from a coal mine in the Amrapada area of Pakur district to unload coal in Dumka district. In the meantime, he told his truck driver that he would stop in the Kathikund area and rejoin the truck on its return from Dumka.
