Hazaribagh district has seen the introduction of language labs in 23 government schools, aiming to improve English proficiency among students from grades 6 to 12. These labs are installed in 4 Chief Minister’s Excellent Schools, adhering to CBSE guidelines, and 19 Adarsh Schools. The JEPC is overseeing this project, which is part of a larger program involving 405 schools across the state. Teachers are being trained on the use of these language labs by Words Worth, a Gujarat-based NGO, which is anticipated to significantly improve students’ communication skills.
