ED raided 17 places in Jharkhand and West Bengal. It has been told that ED has taken this action in a case related to Bangladeshi infiltration, prostitution and money laundering. According to sources, the ED team is investigating financial irregularities related to cross-border infiltration of several people and organizations. It is noteworthy that BJP has made Bangladeshi infiltration a big issue in Jharkhand Assembly elections. However, voting is to be held on 43 seats in the first phase in Jharkhand on Wednesday, November 13. At the same time, by-elections are to be held on six assembly seats of West Bengal.
