Ranchi. On Tuesday, November 12, a day before the first phase of voting in Jharkhand, the central agency Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted raids at many places in Jharkhand. ED raided 17 places in Jharkhand and West Bengal. It has been told that ED has taken this action in a case related to Bangladeshi infiltration, prostitution and money laundering. According to sources, the ED team is investigating financial irregularities related to cross-border infiltration of several people and organizations. It is noteworthy that BJP has made Bangladeshi infiltration a big issue in Jharkhand Assembly elections. However, voting is to be held on 43 seats in the first phase in Jharkhand on Wednesday, November 13. At the same time, by-elections are to be held on six assembly seats of West Bengal.
