ED Raid: Rs 1 crore cash and 100 cartridges recovered from the hideout of former journalist cum land dealer Kamlesh

Ranchi: ED action has started once again in the land scam case. On Friday afternoon, ED raided the places of Ranchi’s famous land businessman Kamlesh. Raids were conducted at Kamlesh’s Kanke Road and Cheshire Home places. In this raid, 100 cartridges and one crore rupees cash were recovered from the businessman’s house. The whole case is related to the land scam.

ED is scrutinizing documents in Kanke Road

ED action has started against Ranchi’s famous land dealer Kamlesh Kumar. ED team has started raiding Kamlesh’s Aster Green Apartment on Kanke Road and some other places. Raid has been conducted at Kamlesh Kumar’s place in connection with Ranchi land scam case. During the last 10 years, Kamlesh Kumar has accumulated property worth crores by manipulating the land papers. Many accused arrested in Ranchi land scam had given shocking information about Kamlesh Kumar to ED.

Kamlesh was in a dispute over Kanke river side land

Kamlesh Kumar earlier used to work as a photographer and reporter in a local newspaper in Ranchi. Gradually, he got involved in the land business and later had a stake in many disputed lands. Kamlesh was earlier arrested by Ranchi police in the land case and sent to jail.

In the hands of many senior officers

It is also known that many senior officers have a hand in Kamlesh’s affairs, including several police officers. A senior police officer of Jharkhand was embroiled in controversies because of Kamlesh. The matter had reached the court.
