ED raid continues for the second day at the hideout of Congress MLA Amba Prasad, many documents related to land recovered

Ranchi: ED has raided the hideout of Congress MLA Amba Prasad of Barkagaon area of ​​Hazaribagh district for the second consecutive day. Many documents related to money laundering have been recovered in the raids that started on Tuesday morning at the residences of the MLA, his relatives and close ones.

Here, the MLA has alleged that he is being targeted for political reasons. On Tuesday, ED teams continued the search till around 1 am in the night. There is information that about Rs 7 lakh has been recovered from the Ranchi residence of a Circle Officer Shashibhushan and Rs 13 lakh has been recovered from the residences of others.

On Wednesday morning the agency team once again reached the MLA's Hazaribagh residence. The agency has started investigation on the basis of cases registered in different police station areas regarding occupation of government land, extortion and illegal sand business. On Tuesday, documents of 10 companies formed in the names of Amba Prasad, her father former minister Yogendra Sao, Amba's brother Ankit Raj, sister Anupriya and other relatives were scrutinized.
