The Enforcement Directorate has intensified its investigation into the case involving ex-MLA Amba Prasad. As part of this, they have collected critical documents from Hazaribagh’s DMO, Ajit Kumar. The ED is meticulously reviewing these documents to gather evidence pertaining to illegal sand mining activities. The recent actions follow an earlier survey of the Hazaribagh DMO office, where some documents were seized. The inquiry is related to an ECIR targeting Amba Prasad’s family, resulting in raids on July 4th. These raids were conducted at Amba Prasad’s office, her brother’s CA’s location, and establishments tied to the sand business, where the ED found documents related to illegal sand operations.
