Delhi Enjoys Clear Skies While Uttar Pradesh and Bihar Face Heavy Showers

The Indian Meteorological Department has issued a mixed weather alert for October 3. In the National Capital Region, sunrise will be bright and cloud‑free, with daytime temperatures ranging from 33 °C to 35 °C. However, gusts may reach 29 km/h and could become stronger later in the day.

In contrast, several districts of Uttar Pradesh and over a dozen districts in Bihar are under a warning for intense rain and wind. Areas such as Mainpuri, Kanpur, Agra, and Lucknow in UP, as well as Katihar, Samastipur and Patna in Bihar, could see rainfall intensity from moderate to heavy, accompanied by wind speeds of up to 50 km/h. Lightning and brief thunderstorms are also possible.

The forecast for the rest of the day predicts a gradual cooling at night, with minimum temperatures dropping to the mid‑20s in Delhi. Residents are advised to stay alert for sudden gusts and localized downpours in the affected states.
