    Jharkhand Assistant Professor Recruitment Exam: The Supreme Court has canceled the Jharkhand High Court’s decision to involve the candidates who have passed the TET of 26 thousand Assistant Acharya (Assistant Teachers) in Jharkhand and the TET of other states.

    According to the apex court’s decision, only Jharkhand Teachers Eligibility Test (Jeet) passed candidates will be able to participate in this examination. A division bench of Justice JK Maheshwari and Justice Rajesh Bindal gave the decision after hearing the plea of ​​Parimal Kumar and others who have passed the Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test (Jette) who challenged the Jharkhand High Court order.

    The apex court reserved the verdict after hearing the case earlier. On behalf of the applicants who filed before the Supreme Court, preferred advocate Gopal Shankar Narayan and Advocate Amritansh Vats had said that the candidates who have passed the Jharkhand Teachers Eligibility Test (Jet) have knowledge of the regional languages ​​of the state Santhali, Khoratha, Nagpuri etc. , Because they have passed the examination of these letters.

    On the other hand, CTET candidates do not have knowledge of such regional languages. When he is appointed in the primary schools of Jharkhand, he will have trouble in teaching children in the regional language of the state and at the same time it will be a violation of the provisions of Right to Education.     Earlier in December 2023, the Jharkhand High Court ordered after hearing the petition of the Jharkhand Citate Candidates Association that Tate (Teacher Eligibility Test) or CITET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) pass candidates will also be able to appear in this appointment examination. .

    Hearing the SLP challenging the High Court’s decision, in April 2024, the Supreme Court ordered the Jharkhand Government and Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) not to publish the result of this appointment examination without its permission.
