According to the apex court’s decision, only Jharkhand Teachers Eligibility Test (Jeet) passed candidates will be able to participate in this examination. A division bench of Justice JK Maheshwari and Justice Rajesh Bindal gave the decision after hearing the plea of Parimal Kumar and others who have passed the Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test (Jette) who challenged the Jharkhand High Court order.
The apex court reserved the verdict after hearing the case earlier. On behalf of the applicants who filed before the Supreme Court, preferred advocate Gopal Shankar Narayan and Advocate Amritansh Vats had said that the candidates who have passed the Jharkhand Teachers Eligibility Test (Jet) have knowledge of the regional languages of the state Santhali, Khoratha, Nagpuri etc. , Because they have passed the examination of these letters.

On the other hand, CTET candidates do not have knowledge of such regional languages.
