Ranchi: Chief Minister Champai Soren on Wednesday made a surprise inspection of the work progress of Kantatoli and Sirmatoli flyovers being built in the capital Ranchi. On the occasion, the Chief Minister gave many important directions to the officials of the Road Construction Department and JUDCO. The Chief Minister directed the officials to speed up the construction work to complete the flyover under construction within the stipulated time. On the occasion, Chief Minister Shri Champai Soren discussed with the officials and asked them to quickly resolve the problems being faced in the flyover construction work. The Chief Minister said that the facility of the flyover is for the common people, hence it is necessary that the construction work of the flyover should be done at a fast pace day and night. The Chief Minister told the officials to increase manpower if needed. The Chief Minister directed the officials to complete the flyover construction by July 2024 under any circumstances. The Chief Minister said that it is the priority of his government to ensure that the general public can use the flyover from July 2024.
Maintain smooth traffic system till completion of flyover construction
The Chief Minister said that officials should ensure that the traffic system in the city remains smooth during the construction of the flyover. Said that any new construction should be with a long-term vision. There should be no compromise with quality in construction work. So that the people of the state can use this flyover for a long time, better and quality work should be done on all the parameters related to the construction.
Principal Secretary of Road Construction Department Sunil Kumar, Secretary to Chief Minister Arwa Rajkamal, Deputy Commissioner Ranchi Rahul Kumar Sinha, Senior Superintendent of Police Chandan Sinha and other officials were present on the occasion.
