Lohardaga district is actively cultivating its potential in beekeeping, with recent training sessions empowering local farmers. The Horticulture Department’s three-day beekeeping training in Utka village, Kairo, provided 16 beneficiaries with essential equipment, including hives and extraction tools. Deputy Commissioner Dr. Kumar Tarachand attended the distribution ceremony, advocating for unified production strategies. He urged farmers to harness the power of collective output and consider complementary ventures like integrated farming and animal husbandry to maximize their earnings. The administration pledged support in securing viable market channels for their honey products.
