CM Hemant Soren reached Ranchi, will hold a meeting with the MLAs of the ruling alliance.

Hemant Soren :- Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren has reached Ranchi. He will hold a meeting with the ruling coalition MLAs after some time. He reached his residence on Kanke Road at around 1:50 pm. CM Security’s convoy was also with him. Soren extended his hand from the car and greeted the media persons. It is being told that he had reached Ranchi late on Monday night and was at some unknown place. With the arrival of the CM at his residence, the news of his mysterious disappearance has come to an end. ED was raiding in search of him since Monday morning. There is a possibility of his arrest. It is being told that the CM will decide the strategy with all the MLAs of the ruling alliance in the current circumstances.

In this meeting, it will be decided whether Soren will resign under the current circumstances and hand over his chair to his wife Kalpana Soren or any other trusted MLA or the next action of ED will be awaited. It is noteworthy that amid reports of the CM being missing for more than 24 hours, Governor CP Radhakrishnan had summoned State Home Secretary Avinash Kumar, DGP Ajay Kumar and Chief Secretary L Khyangte to Raj Bhavan at 11.30 am on Tuesday. The Governor had taken information from him on the law and order situation. Governor CP Radhakrishnan had also said on Monday that if the CM is not replying to the ED today, he will have to reply tomorrow. As a true citizen we should follow it. Regarding the law and order situation, he said that I have expressed concern about this earlier also.

On the other hand, BJP MP Nishikant Dubey has appealed to the Governor to send a report to the Center regarding the situation in the state under Section 355. It is noteworthy that CM Hemant Soren had gone to Delhi by chartered plane on the evening of 27 January. He was at his residence in Shanti Niketan in Delhi till around 11 pm on 28th January. After this, various kinds of discussions were going on in the political circles about where he had gone. On January 29, from morning till late night, ED raided several places including his Delhi residence in search of the CM, but he was not found. However, on the afternoon of January 29, he had sent a mail to the ED informing them that he would be available to record his statement at 1 pm on January 31. (IANS)
