Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren, along with his family, participated in the ‘Baha Festival’ organized in his ancestral village Nemra. On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren, along with the villagers, reached the Jaher Sthan located in Nemra village. The Chief Minister offered prayers there according to traditional rituals and wished for the happiness, prosperity, well-being, and progress of the state’s residents. As per tradition, the worship was conducted by the village Naike Baba (Pahan) Shri Chaitanya Tudu and Kudam Naike Baba (Deputy Pahan) Shri Chotu Besra. Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren reached Jaher Sthan from his residence along with the villagers of Nemra for the ‘Baha Puja’, walking in a procession. The enthusiasm of the villagers was at its peak after seeing the Chief Minister among them. Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren reached his ancestral village Nemra this year as well to participate in the ‘Baha Festival’, just like every year. The people of Nemra and surrounding areas appeared very enthusiastic upon seeing the Chief Minister among them. In line with the culture, the villagers of Nemra reached Jaher Sthan with the Chief Minister, playing drums and mandars. On the occasion, Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren himself played the mandar, boosting the morale of the villagers. The people present on the occasion heartily welcomed and greeted Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren. Chief Minister reached Nemra with his family. Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren, along with his wife MLA Smt. Kalpana Soren and his family, reached Nemra for a two-day visit. Upon receiving the news of the Chief Minister’s arrival, a large number of people from the surrounding areas reached Nemra village and met the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister also met people with warmth and listened to them. On the occasion, the Chief Minister extended warm greetings and best wishes for ‘Baha Festival’ to the people present.
