“Jharkhand Jatra” became a vibrant symbol of Jharkhand’s rich cultural tradition, folk art, and social unity. In the Jatra, various tribal and local communities of the state presented a colorful glimpse of their culture through dance, songs, musical instruments, and tableaux in traditional attire. The tableaux from various districts creatively depicted Jharkhand’s folk art, festivals, the contributions of heroes and heroines, and the struggles of brave sons. This morning, the Jatra was flagged off by the Minister of Welfare for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, Shri Chamra Linda, by playing the nagada and giving the green signal to the participating tableaux at the local JAC-1 Ground, Doranda.
On the occasion of the Jatra’s conclusion, Agriculture Minister Mrs. Shilpi Neha Tirkey and MLA Mrs. Kalpana Soren arrived at Birsa Munda Smriti Park, Jail Chowk, welcomed the “Jharkhand Jatra,” and concluded it.
