    Ranchi: Champai Soren took oath as the 12th Chief Minister of Jharkhand in the Durbar Hall of Raj Bhavan amid political turmoil. Meanwhile, senior Congress leader Alamgir Alam and RJD’s lone MLA Satyanand Bhokta took oath as ministers. Before this, everyone sitting in the Durbar Hall sang the national anthem. After this, after taking permission from the President, the oath ceremony program started.

    Along with Champai Soren, senior Congress leader Alamgir Alam, RJD’s lone MLA Satyanand Bhokta and Sita Soren have also arrived. Swearing-in ceremony will begin in the Durbar Hall of Raj Bhavan in some time from now. The families of the ministers who took oath along with Champai Soren have also reached the ceremony.
