    A heartfelt tribute was organized in Chaibasa on Tuesday to honor the memory of Devendra Majhi, a significant leader of the Water, Forest, and Land rights movement. The commemoration took place at the residence of Member of Parliament Joba Majhi, situated on Pump Road in Chakradharpur. MP Joba Majhi, her son MLA Jagat Majhi, along with several local leaders, family, and supporters, gathered to lay floral tributes at the site. Post the remembrance ceremony, MP Joba Majhi and MLA Jagat Majhi, along with their supporters, departed for Goilkera to participate in a similar memorial gathering. The day marked a significant remembrance for the region’s environmental and land rights advocate.
