As soon as the information was received, FST (Flying Squad Team) was activated. The team included Bagodar BDO, Bagodar-Saria SDPO, police station in-charge and others. The team stopped the Maharani bus late night at Aura in Bagodar and searched it and Rs 1 crore 9 lakh 50 thousand were recovered from a bag.
Three people arrested
Three people carrying the money have been arrested. they are being interrogated. The police captain said that information about the source of money and all the people associated with it is being collected. It is noteworthy that the model code of conduct is in force regarding the elections. Under this, if someone is carrying more than Rs 50 thousand in cash, the police is taking information about the validity of that amount and if the correct information is not available, the money is being confiscated.
