Ranchi: Jharkhand DGP Ajay Kumar Singh has been removed from the post. 1990 batch IPS Anurag Gupta has been made the new DGP of Jharkhand.
The government has appointed Anurag Gupta as the in-charge DGP of Jharkhand. The notification related to this was issued by the Home Jail and Disaster Management Department on Friday. Anurag Gupta was currently on the post of ACB cum CID DG, while Ajay Kumar Singh, posted on the post of Jharkhand DGP, has been made the MD of Police Housing Corporation. According to the notification issued, Prashant Singh, MD of Police Housing Corporation, has been made DG Wireless.
