Acharyas Are Social Leaders, Not Just Teachers: Gopal Sharma

In a significant gathering held at Shri Krishnachandra Gandhi Shaikshik Nagar in Ranchi, Gopal Sharma, a prominent figure in the educational sphere, emphasized that the role of an 'Acharya' extends far beyond the traditional boundaries of classroom instruction. Speaking at the conclusion of the teacher training camp organized by Vidya Bharati Jharkhand, Sharma noted that true educators are the leaders of society who mold the future through their own conduct and values. He asserted that an Acharya’s words must align perfectly with their actions to set a credible example for the youth and the community at large. The training program, which saw participation from approximately 500 teachers across the state, aimed to refine the pedagogical skills and moral grounding of educators. Sharma highlighted that compassion, selfless service, and a strong character are the tools through which teachers can guide society in the right direction. He also warned against external forces attempting to weaken the traditional Indian family structure, urging educators to instill a sense of 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam' (the world is one family) and 'Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah' (may all be happy) in their students.
