Mahua Maji Road Accident: JMM Rajya Sabha MP from Jharkhand, Mahua Maji, his son Somvit Maji, Bahu Kriti Srivastava Majhi and driver Bhupendra Baske were injured in a road accident.
MP was returning to Ranchi from his Scorpio after bathing in Kumbh in Prayagraj. The accident took place in Latehar Sadar police station area of Jharkhand. All the injured have been admitted to Orchid Hospital in Ranchi for treatment. Everyone’s condition is said to be out of danger. (Mahua Maji Road Accident)
It was reported that the accident happened at quarter to four in the early hours of Wednesday, when the son of the MP driving the car, Somvit Maji, came to a nap and hit a truck parked near NH-75 at a place called Hotwag in Latehar.

The MP was sitting right behind the driving seat. According to doctors, his left hand wrist is broken. There is also a light crack in the bones of the chest. MP’s son Somvit Maji said that he suffered a minor injury and he is fine after initial treatment.
On receiving the information of the accident, Latehar District Police reached the spot and was immediately brought to Latehar Sadar Hospital through an ambulance. After initial treatment, everyone was referred to Ranchi. The MP has suffered the most. (Mahua Maji Road Accident)
On Wednesday, many leaders of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, state government ministers and many other people have reached Ranchi Orchid Hospital on the information of MP’s injuries. Chief Minister Hemant Soren has wished him to get well soon. BJP state president and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi has also wished his health benefits.
