A mobile shop in Ranchi, Jharkhand, has been the victim of a robbery, with thieves making off with 28 iPhones. The theft occurred in the Kotwali police station area, specifically on Harmu Road. The stolen phones, which included the latest iPhone models, are estimated to be worth around 30 lakh rupees. The perpetrators are believed to have conducted surveillance of the shop before executing the theft.

According to shop owner Rahul Kumar Shukla, he closed his mobile shop on Thursday night. The thieves then broke into the shop by cutting the shutter. Inside, they stole around 30 lakh rupees worth of mobile phones and accessories. The theft was carried out by six individuals. A First Information Report (FIR) has been lodged by Rahul Kumar Shukla at the Kotwali police station.

On Friday morning, the shop owner discovered that the shop’s shutter was cut, and the lock was broken. Inside, 28 mobile phones, including iPhones, were missing. The estimated value of the stolen phones is approximately 30 lakh rupees.

The shop owner has filed a complaint with the Kotwali police station. The police are investigating the theft, examining CCTV footage, and using other technical means to catch the thieves responsible for stealing the mobile phones worth 30 lakhs.

This is not the first theft in Ranchi. Earlier, four criminals robbed the Jay Hind jewelers shop in the Ormanjhi police station area, stealing approximately 12 lakh rupees worth of jewelry, pretending to buy gold rings.
