Rally, demonstration banned within 500 meters of Morhabadi Ground Ranchi’s Sub-Divisional Officer SDO Utkarsh Kumar has said that Section 163 of the Indian Civil Security Code, 2023 BNSS has been implemented within 500 meters of Morhabadi Ground except Morhabadi Ground. The prohibitory order specifically prohibits public meetings, rallies, dharnas, demonstrations and gathering of 5 or more people within this perimeter. Playing ‘loudspeakers’ is also banned in the area.

In the official press release issued by the district administration, concern has been expressed that some organizations or parties are planning to organize dharna, demonstration and rally. They also plan to surround the Chief Minister’s residence. It is known that the BJYM has organized a ‘Yuva Aakrosh Rally’ against the Hemant Soren government of Jharkhand on Friday. Former Chief Minister of Jharkhand and BJP state president Babulal Marandi is also said to be participating in it.
