    *★ Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren immersed the ashes of “Guruji” at the ghat of the Damodar River in accordance with rural customs and local traditions.*

    Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren today reached the Damodar River ghat in Rajrappa from his ancestral village Nemra with the urn containing the ashes of the late former Chief Minister of the state, Dishom Guru Shibu Soren Ji. Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren immersed the ashes of the late “Guruji” in the Damodar River with full traditional rituals here. Along with Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren, his younger brother MLA Shri Basant Soren, other family members and the villagers of Nemra were present.

    The Chief Minister immersed the ashes of the late Dishom Guru Shibu Soren Ji with tearful eyes.

    At the ghat of the Damodar River in Rajrappa, the ashes of the late Dishom Guru Shibu Soren Ji were immersed by the hands of Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren, following all the proper customs and rituals by the local Pahan, while immersing the ashes, the pain of losing his father was clearly visible in the eyes of Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren.
