In a dramatic late-night showdown, Jamshedpur police clashed with three notorious criminals linked to the high-profile kidnapping of a prominent industrialist’s son. The intense encounter unfolded near Sai Temple in the Bistupur police station area, leaving all three suspects wounded in the legs.

The operation began as a routine recovery mission to retrieve weapons from the crime scene. But tensions escalated when the accused—identified as Guddu Singh, Mohammad Imran, and Ramiz Raja—attempted to snatch a carbine from a constable and opened fire on the officers. Police responded in self-defense, neutralizing the threat without loss of life on their side.

Bistupur SHO Alok Dubey narrowly escaped injury during the exchange of gunfire. City SP Kumar Shivasish confirmed that the force acted strictly in self-defense, recovering a carbine and other arms from the site. The injured trio, hailing from Bihar’s Gaya and Nalanda districts, had been on the run since orchestrating the abduction of Kairav Gandhi.

Recall the chilling incident: Kairav, son of a leading industrialist, was snatched days earlier but rescued unharmed after 13 tense days through relentless police efforts. This encounter marks a significant breakthrough in dismantling the gang, with interrogations expected to uncover more accomplices and details.

Authorities vow to leave no stone unturned, intensifying searches for remaining fugitives. Jamshedpur’s resolve against organized crime sends a strong message: justice will prevail.
