NEW DELHI: The Directorate Normal of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has ordered an inquiry after a passenger who used to be intended to take an Indigo flight to Patna as an alternative boarded every other flight of the airline and landed at Udaipur – about 1400km clear of his vacation spot.
The incident used to be reported on January 30 (Monday), and the passenger used to be despatched to his vacation spot the following day.
A senior DGCA respectable mentioned that the passenger, recognized as Afsar Hussain, booked a price tag for Patna by the use of Indigo flight 6E-214 and reached Delhi airport on January 30 to board the scheduled flight. However he mistakenly boarded Udaipur-bound flight 6E-319 of Indigo.
