    External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar will travel to France and Belgium from June 8 to 14 for strategic meetings. The purpose of the visit is to strengthen diplomatic ties with the two nations and the European Union (EU), as well as to emphasize India’s zero-tolerance policy on terrorism. During the visit, Jaishankar will engage in discussions with French and Belgian ministers, and hold a strategic dialogue with EU Foreign and Security Policy Chief Kaja Kallas. In Paris and Marseille, he will meet with French Foreign Minister Jean Noel Barrot, participate in the Mediterranean Raisina Dialogue, and engage with French think tanks. Discussions will include India’s efforts to combat terrorism. The visit also marks the 25th anniversary of the strategic partnership between India and France. In Brussels, Jaishankar will engage with EU leaders and officials, to discuss strengthening cooperation in various sectors.
