In a monumental achievement, the Indian Army’s White Knight Corps has neutralized seven notorious terrorists after a grueling 326-day high-altitude operation in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kishtwar district. Announced on Monday via social media, this success underscores the relentless pursuit of security forces amid extreme conditions.

The operation unfolded in the treacherous terrains of Kishtwar, where soldiers braved freezing temperatures, relentless rain, and heavy snow to track down the militants. Joint efforts involving the White Knight Corps, Jammu and Kashmir Police, CRPF, and intelligence agencies culminated in the elimination of all seven targets in the Chhatru sector. Multiple encounters punctuated the year-long campaign, showcasing unparalleled determination.

Advanced technology played a pivotal role, with FPV drones, satellite imagery, RPA/UAVs, and robust communication systems providing critical support. The corps highlighted the neutralization of Saifullah and his associates as a testament to the bravery and resolve of Indian troops. ‘Nothing can withstand the courage of our jawans and intelligence operatives,’ the post declared.

This strike represents a significant blow to terror networks operating in the region. Previously, under Operation Trashi-1, three more terrorists were taken out in a coordinated assault, with weapons and remains recovered. The army reaffirmed its stance: no sanctuary for those undermining stability.

Kishtwar’s dense forests in Chhatru have been a hotspot, witnessing over a dozen encounters last year alone. Terrorists, backed by Pakistan’s Jaish-e-Mohammed, frequently shifted bases across Kishtwar, Doda, Kathua, and Udhampur districts. The Indian Army’s persistence has now disrupted their movements decisively.

As images of the eliminated terrorists—marked with red crosses—circulate, the nation salutes the forces safeguarding peace in challenging terrains. This operation not only avenges past threats but fortifies Jammu and Kashmir’s security framework against future incursions.
