India slams Pakistan for ‘politicising’ Chess Olympiad

NEW DELHI:  India on Thursday criticised Pakistan for pulling out of the forty fourth Chess Olympiad in Tamil Nadu and stated it’s “extremely unlucky” that Islamabad has “politicised” the celebrated world match.

Reacting to Pakistan’s resolution, Spokesperson within the Ministry of Exterior Affairs Arindam Bagchi stated it used to be unexpected that Pakistan has abruptly taken the verdict no longer to take part within the match.

It’s extremely unlucky that Pakistan has politicised the celebrated world match through making such statements and taking flight its participation after its group has already reached India, he stated.

Bagchi used to be responding to questions about Pakistan’s resolution to tug out from the Olympiad, bringing up the torch relay of the development passing thru Jammu and Kashmir.

In this, Bagchi asserted that the Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh “were, are and can stay an integral a part of India.
