Ranchi, January 23 – Indian Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh Kumar Tripathi declared India one of the world’s most powerful nations from a strategic perspective. He emphasized that a nation’s voice is heard on global platforms only when it possesses true strength. As India races towards its ‘Developed India-2047’ vision, rapid progress is evident across key sectors.
Speaking at the ‘Viksit Bharat-2047’ dialogue event at Tender Heart School in Ranchi, Admiral Tripathi engaged with students from eight Jharkhand schools. Defence Minister of State Sanjay Seth graced the occasion as a special guest. The Navy Chief underscored the Indian Navy’s capability to sustain prolonged warfare and emerge victorious in any challenging scenario.
When a student questioned the rising arms procurement amid global peace talks, Admiral Tripathi responded thoughtfully: ‘World peace cannot be achieved through words alone. Strength commands respect.’ He assured that India is on the cusp of complete self-reliance in defense production.
Addressing queries on national security, youth roles, leadership, SSB interviews, and global dynamics, the Admiral shared four life principles: positive mindset, self-confidence, strong character, and ambitious dreams. These form the bedrock of success.
He urged students to embrace happiness without seeking reasons, as it simplifies life. Fulfilling duties with honesty, hard work, and dedication is the youth’s greatest contribution to building a developed India, he added.
Defence Minister Sanjay Seth called it a proud moment for Ranchi that the Navy Chief personally interacted with students. Such events inspire the youth towards national service. The program saw participation from school chairman Sudhir Tiwari, principals, parents, senior Army and Navy officers, and numerous students. It was moderated by Vice-Principal Shivangi Shukla.
