Hyderabad is reeling from a horrific crime where a man murdered his pregnant wife and then dismembered her body. The incident took place in the Medipally area of Medchal district, Telangana. The victim, Swathi alias Jyoti, was 22 years old. Her husband, Mahendra Reddy, is the accused and is now in police custody. Following the murder, Reddy cut the body into pieces, concealing some and dumping others in a river. The couple had recently moved to a rented house in Boduppal, Medipally. Both the deceased and the accused were originally from Vikarabad district. The murder is believed to be a result of domestic issues. Neighbors discovered the body parts and alerted the authorities.
